Jim Morrison Signed Original 1970 Print Copy of "An American Prayer" Owned by Ray Manzarek

"Jim Morrison signed original 1970 print copy of his book of poetry "An American Prayer" that he gave to fellow band member Ray Manzarek. Morrison has signed the title page in black felt tip marker. This book was self-published by Morrison in the summer of 1970 with only 500 copies printed by Western Lithographers (Los Angeles). As rare as an original 1970 copy of this book is, a Jim Morrison signed original 1970 copy is even more rare, and a signed original 1970 copy that was actually owned by Ray Manzarek is pretty mind blowing! A 40-page small red leather-bound book with embossed gilt lettering on the cover. Measures 4 x 5. The book comes from the personal collection of a Doors photographer who Manzarek gave the book to. Overall very good condition, the binding is partially detached and there is red cover is partially removed on the bottom right corner of the cover. The book is completely intact. Comes with a letter of provenance from the photographer and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll™ Certificate of Authenticity."
